If this person lives in a house they're paying for water. Unless the house has a well in which case they're paying even more for pumps, filters and softener systems then a connection to city water would cost.
Actually he takes advantage of section 8 with a bunch of other drunk but decently employed twenty-somethings. Don't get me started on how wrong that is...
He's still paying for water. Just not as much as we all are. Isn't there a reward for turning in fraud?
The only way I can get worse karma than letting this offense go is calling him on it. This kid has been in and out of the hospital for a year with serious surgeries, his brother just got hurt in the army and he might have a set of twins on the way. I'm choosing to let this go because if he got kicked out of his apartment he would be not only in pain himself, but would potentially be harming his two children.
Principle versus conscience is always a tough fight.
Well then, he's not as shiftless and able bodied as it sounded.
Just because someone lives in Section 8 housing does not mean that they are evil people. It is just gov't subsidized housing. Not everyone who lives under sect 8 is taking advantage of the system.
He is technically taking advantage because he and the others he shares with are making enough money to not need section 8. But if he has these kids he will then qualify. Thus my not fucking with it all.
His roomate has put enough lobster for an entire party of people on his EBT card. Wrong. But as far as I know my co-worker doesn't have an EBT card...
